Writing: how to retake contact with old friends from school

La primera redacción en inglés de los alumnos de 4º ESO consistía en escribir un pequeño e-mail para retomar el contacto con antiguos compañeros del instituto donde estudiaron. La situación es la siguiente: ahora tienen 30 años y utilizan la red para buscar a sus antiguos amigos; describen cómo eran tanto físicamente como de personalidad y la manera en la que han evolucionado desde entonces. Éstas son dos redacciones que reflejan perfectamente lo que queríamos conseguir y donde la originalidad ha jugado un papel importante. Well done, girls!

Hi, everyone

I used to live in Cebreros, but I moved to the United States ten years ago. I'm living in New York and I'm working at the University, now. I'm a French, English and Italian teacher.

At school I had long and brown hair and I wasn't very tall. I think I look better now! I used to love practising gymnastics but I don´t practise anymore. I run every day to keep fit because I'm still very flexible!

My name is Lucía Chávez de la Cruz. I am looking for old friends from my High School, Hermenegildo Martín Borro. I lived in Viña del Burgo, I was very shy and I was the smallest of the class, too. I didn't speak so much because I felt a little embarrased. Now, I'm studying a degree. I chose Computer Science and at the same time I'm in the Army! I've got two children (a boy and a girl). I'm married and I live in Barcelona with my family.
